THE TEAM :
Jonathan M. Bross ( IMDB Info: click here ) is the President of Velvet Steamroller. Mr. Bross joined Velvet Steamroller in 2003 to establish The Company as a recognized leader in the financing and production of high quality moderately budgeted independent films. As President, Mr. Bross was instrumental in bringing to market the 2006 Lions Gate release, 2001 Maniacs . In addition, Velvet Steamroller has produced Kool Mo Dee's hip hop documentary, There's a God on the Mic , the feature film starring Charles Dutton titled The Third Nail , and Percy Sledge's latest record release titled Shining Through the Rain . Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Mr. Bross spent twelve years rehabilitating distressed companies as a consultant and financier with Arthur Anderson, Chilmark Partners, and most recently Hilco Capital, a start-up firm which raised a $100 million junior secured debt fund to finance distressed companies. Mr. Bross is a graduate of Brown University with an M.B.A. from Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association. Mr. Bross is the managing member of Velvet Steamroller Management, LLC, which is the Managing Member of the Velvet Steamroller Film Fund.
Lisette J. Bross (IMDB Info: click here) is Velvet Steamroller's Vice President of Development. She has 15 years experience in the dramatic arts having a BS in Theatre from Northwestern University which included one year at The Royal Acadamy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. She produced and starred in the critically acclaimed short film Who Slew Simon Thaddeus Mulberry Pew which was distributed by Image Entertainment after winning awards at over 50 festivals and she was part of the production team on the Velvet Steamroller projects 2001 Maniacs, There's a God on the Mic, The Third Nail, and Percy's Sledge's album Shining Through the Rain. In addition, Ms. Bross is an accomplished actress with roles in such films as The Big Brass Ring and The Third Nail. Ms. Bross currently is a member of the Radar Pictures development committee.
